The unusual duo of 12-year-old Kudo fighter Bogdan Yelizarov and his Labrador Zak from Vladivostok unexpectedly became a topic of discussion online this summer. The resourceful athlete filmed videos on Instagram*, demonstrating techniques on his large and good-natured four-legged friend, and to make the scene resemble a real fight, the dog was dressed in a kimono.

Bogdan and Zak became so popular with users that videos of them quickly spread across social networks in a short time, and journalists not only from the Primorye region but also from other parts of Russia came to see the unusual sparring sessions in person. Journalists from VLADIVOSTOK1.RU also spoke with Bogdan. Moreover, positive feedback for the unusual sparring partners was left by renowned fighters: Petr Yan, Anatoly Malykhin, and Sarvarjon Khamidov.

Bogdan is actively developing not only as an athlete, regularly participating in international competitions, but also strives to increase his recognition and media presence, and Zak willingly helps his owner in this and, as soon as he notices the kimono, understands that it«s time for filming.
