Tula Man Faces Trial for Brother's Murder and Illegal Arms Storage

In Tula, a 41-year-old man is being prepared for trial for beating his own brother to death, and as it was later discovered, also storing weapons at home. This was reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor«s office.

The incident occurred between October 25 and 31, 2025, in Prudnoye (Tula region). On one of these days, the man and his brother were drinking alcohol in the kitchen, after which they suddenly quarreled.

During the quarrel, the 41-year-old Tula resident began beating his relative, striking him on the head. Due to the injuries sustained, the man«s brother later died.

When police arrived at the scene and began the inspection, other incriminating evidence was discovered. Thus, law enforcement officers found parts of a homemade firearm — it was left to the brothers by their late father. In addition to the homemade gun, the brothers also inherited explosives.

Now, the man will be tried not only under the article for inflicting grievous bodily harm resulting in death, but also for storing firearms and explosives. The Tula resident faces up to 15 years of imprisonment.
