Top police officer names Yekaterinburg's most dangerous districts

The highest number of crimes last year was recorded in the Ordzhonikidzevsky district.
Yekaterinburg«s top police officer Viktor Poznyak named the districts with the highest crime rates in the city. The Ordzhonikidzevsky district topped the list. In 2025, 2,920 crimes were registered there, 66.RU reports from a meeting of the city duma commission.
The top three also included the Verkh-Isetsky and Leninsky districts, where 2,741 and 2,575 crimes were committed respectively.
Conversely, the Chkalovsky (1,668 crimes) and Oktyabrsky (1,671 crimes) districts were deemed less dangerous.
Recall that a year earlier, the leaders in crime rates were different — the Chkalovsky and Verkh-Isetsky districts.
Several years ago, we asked readers of E1.RU which district of the city they considered the most dangerous. The majority voted for Ordzhonikidzevsky: not for nothing have Uralmash and crime been synonyms since the 1990s. In second place in the public anti-rating was the Zheleznodorozhny district. Meanwhile, Chkalovsky and Verkh-Isetsky came in third and fifth, respectively.
