Prosecutor Intervenes as Fedorovskoye Residents Stuck in Unsafe Homes

The Ryazan prosecutor«s office has stepped in after local authorities failed to relocate villagers from homes declared unsafe years ago.

Residents of houses No. 2 and 3 on Novoselov Street in Fedorovskoye village have not been relocated, despite the buildings being deemed dilapidated. According to the Ryazan prosecutor«s office, the houses are subject to demolition within five years from the time they were declared unsafe.
However, the relocation of residents did not occur during this time.
To protect the housing rights of citizens, the prosecutor«s office made a submission to the head of the Zakharovsky municipal district, the regional department reported. Currently, the lawsuit is under consideration.
«The actual restoration of citizens» rights is under the control of the district prosecutor,« added the prosecutor»s office.
