At 4 a.m. on January 2, in the Oktyabrsky District of Novosibirsk, an unpleasant but not uncommon episode of nightlife occurred. A drunk Siberian man caused a brawl, and to subdue him, the rapid response team from the private security firm Guardia was called. The troublemaker first fled, and then opened fire on a member of the rapid response team.
The young man seriously wounded a security guard in the arm, but after three weeks, a criminal case has still not been initiated. The explanations from police and Guardia employees on why this happened were very different. NGS news outlet listened to both versions of events and compiled the key points.
The full story of the night brawl with shooting, which ultimately ended in a conflict between police and the rapid response team members, can be read here.
Earlier, NGS reported that getting hit by a stray bullet in Novosibirsk is possible not only in round-the-clock dive bars but also in much more upscale establishments in the city.
