The U.S. Department of Justice has published over 3 million pages of documents related to the investigation of financier Jeffrey Epstein. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche stated that the release also includes 2,000 video recordings with 180,000 images.

Jeffrey Epstein is an American financier accused of trafficking minors for sexual exploitation and coercing young girls into prostitution. He was detained and tried several times: in 2008 for coercion into prostitution, and in 2019 again on serious charges. After the last arrest, he was found dead in his prison cell under suspicious circumstances, which sparked much controversy and rumors. His case drew attention to issues of sexual exploitation and elite connections to criminal schemes.

According to Blanche, the faces of all women depicted in these materials have been blurred, except for Epstein«s assistant Ghislaine Maxwell. Moreover, not all published media files were created by Epstein or anyone in his circle. These materials also include »large volumes of commercial pornography.«

«We did not blur the faces of any of the men [in these photos and videos]. There is no tranche of top-secret documents about Jeffrey Epstein that we are hiding,» noted Blanche.

The published documents in the Epstein case mention U.S. President Donald Trump, former U.S. President Bill Clinton, American entrepreneur Bill Gates, billionaire Elon Musk, and other influential figures. The content of these documents is not yet known and is currently being studied, reports The New York Times.

As Blanche stated, the U.S. president«s administration did not participate in reviewing and editing the files. He also emphasized that the Department of Justice »did not protect« Trump during the review of cases related to Epstein.

«I can assure you that we complied with the law, we followed legal requirements. We did not protect President Trump. We did not protect anyone,» he said.

Last November, Trump denied any information about any contacts related to Epstein. He assured that they had bad relations, and moreover, he had never been to the famous island associated with this financier.

Little Saint James is a private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands, located southeast of Saint Thomas Island. Better known as Epstein«s Island. From 1998 to 2019, the island belonged to American financier Jeffrey Epstein.

According to journalistic investigations and testimonies, wealthy and influential guests regularly visited the island. The owner himself described private visits and closed meetings as relaxation or informal communication in a narrow circle. However, victims claimed that under the guise of guest trips and servicing wealthy visitors, sexual exploitation of minors occurred on the island.

The American leader is convinced that what is happening with this case is just another attempt by Democrats to distract the public from U.S. domestic problems.

Earlier, Trump was accused of child trafficking. This statement came from entrepreneur Elon Musk. We reported more about this here.

Updated 11:27 MSK: The U.S. Department of Justice emphasized that information about U.S. President Donald Trump«s connections with a teenage girl, contained in the recently published files of financier Jeffrey Epstein, is not true.

«Some documents contain false and sensational claims against Trump, which were submitted to the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) directly before the 2020 elections,» states a release on the official website of the U.S. Department of Justice.

The Epstein Case

Jeffrey Epstein, a well-known American financier, found himself at the center of a scandal back in 2005. He was accused of committing sexual crimes and trafficking minors.

At that time, investigators established that the financier lured young girls to his home, where he allegedly raped them. During searches of his home, thousands of photographs depicting naked underage girls were found, as well as hidden cameras.

According to media reports, Epstein used video materials with victims for blackmail. There is a belief that the financier and his accomplices maintained a young woman who was sent to various influential people for erotic massage and sexual services.

Epstein was arrested in 2006. He spent 13 months in custody. According to the investigation, at that time, 36 underage girls suffered from his actions.

In June 2008, the financier pleaded guilty to coercing a young girl, who was under 16 years old, into prostitution. For this, he was sentenced to 18 months in prison. But Epstein served his sentence as isolated confinement in a private section of the prison in Palm Beach County.

New media attention to the financier«s case arose in the fall of 2017 and caused another wave of investigative actions. Particularly loud was the discovery in his Manhattan mansion of thousands of photographs of naked minors. Among the findings were video recordings indicating the use of these materials for blackmail.

In July 2019, a new arrest followed, and in August of the same year, Epstein was found dead in his prison cell. According to official data, he committed suicide.
