Woman claims husband's ex-lover harasses her for years
The woman throws eggs at her rival«s windows and writes insults on the house walls
A Novosibirsk resident has reported obsessive behavior by a woman in love with her husband. The spurned lover pelts her rival«s windows with eggs, scrawls insults in the stairwell, shows up at her workplace, and bombards her with threatening text messages. The victim of the harassment has filed a police report because she fears the situation could escalate beyond threats and hooliganism.

Anna and Maxim (names changed) — Ed. have been married since 2000 and have an adult daughter. However, their marriage was interrupted for several years, but in 2022, before leaving for the special military operation, Maxim proposed to his ex-wife again, and they remarried.
Although the reason for the divorce between marriages was financial, the couple also had conflicts over the husband«s extramarital affairs.
«He»s a handsome man, he was never short of female attention,« the Siberian woman noted. In any case, she forgave his infidelities, especially since he always returned to the family.
Lidia (name changed) — Ed. came into Maxim«s life about 10 years ago. He was then working at one of the road maintenance institutions, and Lidia was his colleague. According to Anna, Maxim left the family for a while then, rented separate housing, and dated other women, including Lidia.
When their affair ended and Maxim returned to his wife, his colleague decided to win him back at all costs. Things got even worse after their second wedding.
Lidia bombarded her «more fortunate rival» with threatening and insulting text messages (in the editorial board«s possession).
«I»ve never spoken to her«
The three-story building on Uchenicheskaya Street, where Anna lives, is regularly subjected to vandalism. The Siberian woman sent the editorial board dozens of photos: windows splattered with eggs, offensive graffiti in the stairwell.
«She writes, »May your words fall on your own shoulders.« But I have never spoken to her once in my life,» the woman notes.
Anna also shared that Lidia once came to her workplace.
«I was working at a furniture store then. A woman walks in, stands and stares at me sullenly. I say, »Hello, can I help you?« She»s like, «Hello, no.» And keeps staring. And I think to myself, «Where have I seen her before?» Then she turned around and left. I figured she had the wrong door,« the woman recalls the incident.
Anna remembered the face a little later. Earlier, Lidia had tried to send a friend request to their adult daughter. The daughter blocked her but showed the page to her mother — that«s when Anna remembered Lidia»s face.
Later, Lidia admitted to Maxim that she was curious to see his wife.
By the way, on her social media page, one can find an image from an app that «checks compatibility,» with Lidia«s and Anna»s husband«s names entered.
Usually, according to the Siberian woman, Lidia makes her presence known about once every six months. And it all ends with hooligan antics like eggs smashed against windows or graffiti on walls. Once, Anna«s neighbor caught Lidia defecating right by the house under the windows of the Siberian woman»s apartment. But sometimes the «surprises» become sinister.
«She told my husband that he should be with her and that I should be poisoned. She even brought a cake for my daughter»s last birthday, left it at our door. A big, white, store-bought one. As soon as Maxim saw it, he grabbed that cake and ran to throw it in the trash,« Anna added.
But the summer of 2026 was particularly hard for Anna. On June 29, Anna left the window open because she was watering flowers with a hose in the yard.
«I»m lying in bed looking at my phone, not sleeping. The window is open; I«ve weighed down the mosquito net with pots because I have cats. And then — bang — on the pots! Someone is pushing the net from the outside. I jump up, the cats scatter. My first thought: kids fooling around. I yelled, and some woman is screaming back. I look at the window: eggs are dripping down it. And she didn»t skimp on eggs, smashed about eight of them,« Anna complained.
After that, Lidia came again on July 2, July 7, July 14, and the last time was in the night from July 25 to 26.
«She»s a real stalker! Most stalkers are men, but this one is a woman,« Anna notes. »The situation is heading towards either me killing her or her killing me.«
Anna has filed a police report against Lidia for the seventh time overall. The editorial board has six tickets from the incident report log (KUPS).
«That»s not about me«
Lidia, in turn, claims in conversation with NGS that she does nothing of the sort.
«That»s absolutely not true,« the woman stated. »What nonsense is this? That«s not about me. Sorry, I»m an adult, why would I do anything to anyone? And I«m hearing this for the first time.»
Nevertheless, in a conversation with a journalist, she admitted that the couple«s surname is familiar to her.
«I know them, but that»s an old story. I lived with a man for 10 years. And that«s it. And then they (Maxim»s wife and daughter — Ed.) started, roughly speaking, putting a spoke in my wheel. I wasn«t against it... On the contrary, a man should be with his family, I was always all for it. But he wouldn»t leave them. And so they provoked and manipulated him in every way, and in the end, he left. Fine, he left, God be with him! I have absolutely no conflict. They had complaints about me, yes, but I don«t react to it, I don»t need it,« said the [Siberian] woman.
Regarding the text messages with threats and insults, she responded that the screenshots are fake: «You know, a long, long, long time ago they forged my number. As if there was some screenshot from my number, that I wrote to someone — I received messages on WhatsApp from someone saying that this is your phone number.»
Lidia could not guess who might be doing everything that Anna describes.
«Maybe they have some other enemies? I haven»t spoken to them for a long time; I don«t care at all. I have my own life, I have, like, my own boyfriend. Sorry, I live with a man, why would I need this? You»ve completely shocked me with this news,« she assured.
NGS has requested a comment from the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Novosibirsk Region.
