On the morning of 27 January, passersby found the schoolgirl«s body under the windows of the high-rise. They immediately called emergency services. Law enforcement and medics arrived at the scene, but the girl was already dead. Ksyusha»s mother learned about what happened from police officers.

Her classmates noted a recent drop in her grades and strange behavior during lessons.

«The police arrived, went up, and knocked on the mother»s door. She thought the child was at school. Then they all went downstairs, and the woman realized it was her daughter. They went through the floors and saw that on the transitional loggia lay a note and a phone,« a source told E1.RU.

Despite the tragedy, friends and family described her as a normally sociable and cheerful child.

What Ksyusha wrote in the note is not even known to her own father.

«While the investigation is underway, I won»t disclose anything because there are more questions than answers. It«s only known that she fell from the communal balcony. It seems no one else was there besides her. She left a note, which investigators immediately seized, I haven»t seen it,« Anatoly, the father of the deceased, explained to E1.RU.

«She was normal, sociable»

Three years ago, Ksyusha«s parents divorced, and she started living alone with her mother, who works as a psychologist. Her father lives in the house opposite and maintained constant contact with his daughter.

«I don»t know if there were any warning signs, the only thing is she spent a lot of time on the internet. Generally, she was quite normal, sociable, but with kids, classmates, and at home she mostly spent time on her phone. No one watched what she was doing there, now her mobile has been seized by investigators,« the father added. »We are divorced from her mother, but my daughter visited me almost every day, the last time from Saturday to Sunday (24–25 January – Ed.). There were never any explicit statements or complaints from her. She never complained about school or classmates either.«

Ksyusha«s friends said that shortly before the tragedy, the girl had argued with her mother.

«Of course, everyone has arguments. Maybe recently they argued about something, but these are everyday matters, not some unsolvable conflicts. There wasn»t anything like having a huge fight,« the father added.

«Called an anime fan»

Classmates told E1.RU that until recently, Ksyusha studied well and even participated in Olympiads. The girl was not an outcast; she had friends at school. And she also maintained social media – posting video stories on Likee, drawn in anime style.

«It seems no one bullied her. Boys who are a couple of years older than us called her a nonconformist,» one of the schoolchildren explained to E1.RU.

«Some did call her »anime fan,« but didn»t show any aggression,« another classmate added.

However, recently the girl«s academic performance dropped. She started behaving strangely in class.

«But she was good, didn»t hurt anyone, was friends with everyone. When Ksyusha didn«t come to lessons, we thought she was sick. But then they asked us who had been in contact with her. Then the principal came and announced the sad news to us. All the girls immediately started crying, the boys were also in shock. I»m still shaking,« a classmate stated. »She stopped doing homework, didn«t study anything in history and math. And she often mentioned corpses in class.»

Some acquaintances of the deceased claim that the girl spoke about not wanting to live.

«She had been depressed for a long time, about a year, often complained about life and talked about such thoughts,» another acquaintance of the girl asserts.

Investigators from the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICR) are looking into the details of the tragedy. They do not officially comment on what happened. All that is known about this emergency, we are collecting in a separate topic.
