Mizulina Links Ufa School Shooting to Ukraine Manipulators

The head of the Safe Internet League, Yekaterina Mizulina, made a sharp statement regarding the situation at Gymnasium No. 16, where a shooting occurred today. A ninth-grader burst into a classroom and shot at a teacher. The central thesis of her statement was the assertion of external interference.
“We believe that all recent attacks on schools are interconnected. Manipulators from unfriendly countries (including from the territory of Ukraine) are conducting targeted work to find mentally unstable teenagers on social networks and recruit them for such activities,” wrote Mizulina.
In her Telegram channel, Mizulina reported that the attacking teenager was live-streaming on social networks and called on the media not to disseminate this footage.
“It is precisely wide distribution in the media and public pages that those who drag teenagers into committing such crimes are seeking.”
Mizulina stated that detailed descriptions of attack episodes are dangerous in themselves.
“Information about new episodes of attacks provokes people with a tendency towards destructive behavior to commit such crimes. This is because such information activates a person«s interest in this area and also provides detailed instructions on how they can realize this interest,” notes the head of the Safe Internet League.
According to Mizulina, the teenager committed the attack during the 4th lesson. He managed to shoot towards the teacher and three classmates, but only one of the bullets hit, and even then by ricochet, the teacher. He also set off a firecracker. According to information (at this time), no one was injured. According to some media reports, the assault rifle was allegedly plastic. The attacker has been detained, and law enforcement agencies are working on the scene.
