Drug addicts besiege Tyumen residential complex in search of stashes

Residents of a multi-story building on Speransky Street, 17 in Tyumen complain about an invasion of drug dealers and addicts. The latter have become so brazen that they search for drug stashes without shame in front of passersby, and some go out searching with their whole families.
Residents of the apartment building say that drug addicts have been bothering them for quite some time: they constantly search for stashes in the entrance or courtyard. Drug users scare people — it«s unknown how a person craving a dose might behave. Tired of the unwelcome guests, people collected photos and videos and handed everything over to the police. Since filing the report, as residents told 72.RU, almost a month has passed, but nothing has changed.
‘They often walk in the entrance, and we suspect that the dealers live in the building. The report, photos, and videos were handed over to the police in early January, but there«s no response. The stash seekers come almost every day, especially before weekends,’ says a reader of 72.RU.
On footage from surveillance cameras, it can be seen how people approach the multi-story building and start searching for something, feeling along the walls and windowsills with their hands, and then quickly leave. Judging by the footage, the seekers are not embarrassed by either passersby or cameras. And some take small children with them. Probably, the children are used as cover.
Drug dealers and addicts are not uncommon for the Vostochny microdistrict. Previously, we reported how dealers besiege courtyards, dig up flower beds, and lunge at people. They even come in trucks to search for drugs.
