Forecasters predict heavy snow in the mountains and rain on the coast of Sochi this weekend.

Weather conditions are expected to worsen in the mountains of Sochi. According to meteorologists, from January 24 until the morning of January 25, a very heavy snowfall will occur in the medium and high mountains of the resort.
In the Krasnopolyansky mountain cluster, wet snow is forecast to stick to power lines and trees, as well as cause difficulties with traffic on the roads. On the coast during the same period, rain will fall.
Authorities strongly recommend that residents and guests of Sochi be extremely cautious and, if possible, refrain from trips to mountain areas in personal vehicles, using public transport for movement.
