Ski Resorts in Sochi Raise Prices

On February 1, the high season begins at the ski resorts in Sochi, and as a result, the cost of ski passes is increasing.
The resort «Gazprom Polyana» continues to be the most budget-friendly even despite the price increase. Until January 31, a lift ticket there cost 4,100 rubles (approximately $46 at current rates), but from February 11, its price will be 4,600 rubles (approximately $51 at current rates).
The resort «Krasnaya Polyana» has opened sales for the «Peak» tariff. The cost of a ski pass until March 9 will be 5,200 rubles (approximately $58 at current rates); in January, it could be purchased for 4,100 rubles (approximately $46 at current rates). A children«s ski pass at »Krasnaya Polyana« will now cost 2,750 rubles (approximately $31 at current rates). It has increased by only 250 rubles (approximately $3 at current rates).
At the resort «Rosa Khutor», a ski pass from February 1 will cost 6,800 rubles (approximately $76 at current rates); before the seasonal increase, its price was 5,500 rubles (approximately $61 at current rates). The high season at the resort will last until March 10, after which ski pass prices will drop again to 5,500 rubles (approximately $61 at current rates).
