Mobile Photographer Shows Beauty of First Thaw in Volgograd Oblast
The frost-covered berries in the photo feel as if they are from a fairy tale.
The beauty of the first thaw of 2026, which covered Volgograd Oblast after prolonged abnormal frosts, was captured by mobile photographer Yevgenia. The photos were taken in the area of Nikolayevsk city, which is located on the opposite bank of the Volga from Kamyshin.
Following the temperature increase, a heavy fog descended on the region, echoes of which can be seen in the photographer«s shots. By the way, the cause of such weather changes was a cyclone passing over the region. According to weather forecasters, it will linger for a few more days, and then strong frosts will come again.

Last weekend, for example, motorists showed the beauty of the snow-covered route R-228 Syzran – Saratov – Volgograd.
