Yaroslavl seeks carrier for bus route No. 44

Yaroslavl authorities have posted a request on the Goszakupki portal for a carrier for bus route No. 44 «Avtozavodskaya Street – Torgovy Lane». Service must be provided from 1 March to 31 December 2026.

According to the documentation, up to ten large-class buses can operate simultaneously on the line. The contract will take effect after signing and will last until 3 March 2027.

The contract text states: «The expiration of the contract does not entail the termination of mutual obligations of the parties under the contract.»

The maximum contract price is set at 57.7 million rubles ($641,100 at current rates). The company offering the lowest service cost in the auction will win the right to sign it.

Route No. 44 was canceled on 1 April 2023 and temporarily replaced by bus No. 94S. However, at the end of 2024, it was decided to restore it. This decision is linked to the need to provide transport links for residents of the Leninsky District during the repair of tram tracks.

Earlier, the administration had already tried to find a carrier for work on this route from 1 February to 31 December 2026, but the auction was declared invalid. Then a separate tender was announced for servicing the route in February 2026 with a budget of 5.2 million rubles ($57,800 at current rates).
