Yaroslavl Region reviews first month of paid parking operations
Yaroslavl Region authorities have summarized the performance of paid parking in the first month since its launch on December 25, 2025.
«In Yaroslavl, Rybinsk, Uglich, Rostov Veliky, and Pereslavl-Zalessky, payment for vehicle parking was made 141,000 times. The regional budget received 20.1 million rubles (approximately $201,000 at current rates),» the regional government reported.
Paid parking was used most often in Yaroslavl — 116,000 times. In second place is Rybinsk, with 9,130 payments recorded, and in third is Pereslavl-Zalessky with 8,805 payments. In Uglich and Rostov Veliky, the number of payments was 6,513 and 968, respectively.
«To date, drivers in the region have received about 1,740 preferential and 630 resident permits and purchased 1,400 subscriptions,» added Deputy Chairman of the Government — Minister of Road Infrastructure and Transport of Yaroslavl Region Roman Dushko.
At the same time, authorities noted that from December 25 to January 25, using stationary and mobile control means, more than 10,000 violations of parking payment rules were recorded. Fines amount to 2,500 rubles (approx. $25) for individuals, 5,000 rubles (approx. $50) for officials, and 10,000 rubles (approx. $100) for legal entities at current rates.

Recall that on the first day of paid parking operation in Yaroslavl, most spots were empty. At the same time, streets, courtyards, and even parks in the area were filled with cars.
