Why Yaroslavl Bus Stop Boards Show Only Time
The Yaroslavl Region Ministry of Transport discussed the progress of connecting electronic boards at city bus stops.
Residents of Yaroslavl have noticed that modern information boards installed at several stops, intended to display public transport schedules, currently show only the time and outside temperature.
The regional Ministry of Road Management and Transport provided explanations. “The process of connecting the boards to the system is underway, and some of them are already fully operational. Information boards are primarily installed in areas with high passenger traffic,” the ministry clarified.
According to authorities, a total of 25 such electronic boards have been installed at new bus stop pavilions in the city. They are located, among other places, at Bogoyavlenskaya Square and Oktyabrskaya Square, as well as on Bolshaya Oktyabrskaya Street. Once connection is complete, the devices will display the current time, date, and up-to-date transport schedules.
The program to install new bus stop complexes was launched in 2024 and will last until the end of 2026.
Previously, Yaroslavl residents reported stuffiness in bus cabins. According to established standards, the temperature inside vehicles must be maintained between +12 °C (54 °F) and +25 °C (77 °F). Cases of violation can be reported via the mobile app “Gosuslugi. Reshaem vmeste” (Government Services. Solving Together) or by calling the dispatch service at +7 (4852) 30-40-95.
