Weigh-in-motion station launched in Tomsk Region for overload and seatbelt checks

An automatic weigh-in-motion station has become operational in standard mode near the village of Pobeda in the Shegarsky District of Tomsk Region. This was reported by the press service of the regional administration.
The complex was installed at the 61st kilometer of the road from Tomsk to Kargala to Kolpashevo near the village of Pobeda.
The weigh-in-motion station determines the weight and dimensional parameters of vehicles without stopping them. Additionally, the complex records traffic violations. These include speeding, crossing into oncoming lanes, not wearing seatbelts, using a phone while driving, and driving without headlights on.
For violations recorded by the complex, vehicle owners will be held accountable.
Furthermore, in Tomsk Region, there are stations on the highway from Tomsk to Mariinsk (near the village of Voronino) and on the highway from Tomsk to Kargala to Kolpashevo (near the village of Chazhemto). A station on the 8th kilometer of Tomsk«s bypass road is operating in test mode.
