Arrival and departure schedules at Ufa airport have been disrupted, airport officials reported, citing adverse weather conditions at Moscow«s air hub. Specifically, one of the capital»s airports announced a temporary closure.

«Sheremetyevo Airport is temporarily closed to arriving aircraft due to unfavorable weather conditions from 09:00 MSK to 12:00 MSK. Airlines are adjusting their flight schedules,» the capital«s air harbor said.

This has also affected operations at Ufa airport.

«Due to the complex weather conditions at the airports of Moscow»s air hub, schedule adjustments are possible,« local staff explained.

According to the online board, several flights have already departed with delays of 15 to 30 minutes today. The arrival of several aircraft is also delayed. Airport authorities are urging passengers and those meeting them to monitor flight statuses.

«We ask passengers to check their flight status before heading to the airport,» wrote airport representatives.
