Video Poll at Postnikov Ravine: Samara Residents Complain of Tram Overcrowding

63.RU correspondents checked Samara residents« complaints about tram transport during rush hour
The reform of the tram and trolleybus system in Samara continues: new trains are being purchased, rails are being repaired, infrastructure is being upgraded. But for passengers, things are still hard. Crowds of people wait for transport at stops for a long time. And when it arrives — they barely squeeze into overcrowded carriages. In the comments of our Telegram channel residents share vivid impressions. Judging by their statements, the situation has worsened in the last couple of weeks.
“The doors managed to close on the third try! In the tram — it«s like sardines in a can!” writes one subscriber. Another adds: “Everyone responsible for transport should be put in such trams during rush hour and taken back and forth for 10 days. And let the heater blow right in their faces!”
In the morning, 63.RU correspondents checked the complaints: at 7:30 at the «Tarasov Plant» there were neither passengers nor overcrowded carriages. By 8:00, the journalists were at «Postnikov Ravine» — a major transport hub through which routes 2, 4, 5, 13, 18, 20, 20k, 22, and 23 pass. Here they found crowds of freezing Samara residents waiting for their trams. Watch the video to see what they told us:
