The problem of morning traffic jams on the approach to the Strela (Arrow) bridge will not be fundamentally solved in the coming years. This concerns Traktovaya, Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya, and Mira streets, where major traffic jams form every day.
As reported by the information center of the Tyumen region government in response to a request from 72.RU, no major repairs or expansion are planned for these facilities in 2026.
However, the issue of organizing dedicated lanes for public transport in this area, which could ease the traffic flow, is under consideration by interdepartmental commissions.
«If there are no contradictions and the regulations allow, this issue will be studied,» stated the information center. Thus, it is premature to talk about specific timelines or plans for creating dedicated lanes.
Meanwhile, as residents note, due to the development of the Kalininsky district, the traffic load on key highways leading to the city center via the Strela bridge continues to grow literally every month.
