Fares on two bus routes from Chita will increase starting February 4. This was reported on January 27 in the Telegram channel of the Chita District administration.

This concerns route No. 236, which goes from Chita to Yelizavetino, where the fare will become 400 rubles (approximately $4 at current rates) instead of the previous 350 rubles (about $4). Also, the ticket price for bus No. 104 Chita—Makkaveevo will change, increasing from 180 rubles (about $2) to 200 rubles (about $2).

The administration explained the fare increase as due to rising prices for fuel and lubricants and vehicle spare parts.

“We ask that you take the new cost into account when planning trips. Up-to-date schedule information can be obtained from the carrier or your settlement administration,” the administration said.

Routes No. 104 and 236 are operated by individual entrepreneur S. E. Lobanov.

In Chita, during February, the fare on several minibuses will also increase. This was previously reported by the city mayor«s office—specifically, fares on routes No. 2, 26, 27, 47, and 77 will rise to 50 rubles (about $1), entrepreneurs have already submitted a notice to the administration about raising the payment.
