Residents of Tula are once again complaining about the poor performance of public transport. People are voicing their dissatisfaction on social media.

Tula residents claim they are forced to wait almost an hour at public transport stops. Outside, temperatures are below -10°C (14°F) with strong, gusty winds.

«At »Zelenstroi,« wheeled transport passes by without stopping. Of the three tram number 14 that were supposed to arrive at 8:16, 8:27, and 8:43, not a single one showed up!» said Marina.

In addition, Tula residents are also suggesting that officials stand with them at the stops and evaluate the work of public transport in the city.

Yesterday, Governor Dmitry Milyaev proposed paying officials a salary proportional to their work efficiency. He made this proposal in the context of evaluating public transport performance. Thus, for 86% efficiency, he proposed paying 86% of the salary.
