Tula region lists vehicles permitted during weather-related road closures

Tula region has updated the list of vehicles that can travel on regional and local roads even during closures related to bad weather conditions.

The corresponding document was signed by the first deputy governor and chairman of the regional government, Mikhail Panteleev. The resolution itself was published on January 28 on the portal of the collection of regulatory legal acts of Tula region.

According to the resolution, exceptions during road closures due to bad weather apply to the following types of transport:

engaged in international freight transport;

engaged in passenger transport by buses;

ambulances and trucks with medicines and medical equipment;

engaged in transporting food, animals, feed, and other agricultural goods;

vehicles of executive authorities where military service is provided;

special equipment carrying out road repairs;

transporting municipal waste.

During bad weather, traffic on roads and entry into cities can be closed. This already happened on the evening of January 8, when due to heavy snowfall, trucks were banned from entering Tula.
