A tram broke down at the intersection of Orenburgskaya Street and Oktyabrya Prospekt in Ufa. This has blocked other trams and trolleybuses. The site is near the Bashkir State Agrarian University (BSAU).

The Ufa city administration explained that the tram«s current collector broke due to a break in the contact wire.
«As a result, the movement of trams No. 1, 5, 10, 18 and trolleybus No. 21 has been temporarily suspended,» the city administration said.
Officials noted that trolleybuses with autonomous operation are unaffected and continue on route. Online maps show a traffic jam on Orenburgskaya Street, while traffic on the Prospekt is heavy. Repair crews are working on the line right in the middle of the road. Specialists from the municipal power service are restoring voltage to the contact network for trams and trolleybuses.
