Today, traffic on the road from Svetlograd to Blagodarny was closed for several hours for all types of transport, and later reverse traffic was organized. Closer to evening, the route was opened.
The section from the 1st to the 33rd kilometer was closed on January 27 at 07:50. According to the Stavropol Krai State Traffic Inspectorate, the cause was a weather hit on all fronts: strong side wind, blizzard, and practically zero visibility. Later traffic police crews organized reverse traffic in both directions.
Closer to evening, the route was opened, and traffic resumed in normal mode. However, it is noted that the weather still complicates travel in the Petrovsky District. Drivers are urged to postpone travel by personal transport.
