Traffic Jam of Trucks and Cars Forms Near Pereslavl-Zalessky

On the afternoon of January 27, a traffic jam of trucks and passenger cars formed on the approach to Pereslavl-Zalessky from Moscow, near the village of Vasilevo.

“It took three hours to get out of Moscow only to get stuck in a traffic jam on the incline. Nothing is moving. A bunch of cars,” report drivers from the M-8 highway.

According to people, the reason is that heavy trucks cannot enter the incline.

“We«ve been standing in the traffic jam for over an hour already. Trucks are moving extremely slowly or not at all,” said Yaroslavl residents.

At the time of publication, this section of the road on Yandex.Maps is marked in yellow. The length of the traffic jam is no more than a kilometer.

Meanwhile, the Kholmogory road administration (FKU Uprador) informed the portal 76.RU that traffic is currently flowing normally.

Recall that a serious traffic jam formed on a section of the M-8 highway near Pereslavl-Zalessky in Yaroslavl Oblast on January 9. Traffic was at a standstill on the section from the village of Vasilevo to the entrance to the village of Glebovskoye. In the traffic jam, were caught actors from the popular series «Soldiers» (16+) who were traveling to Yaroslavl for their performance. The traffic jam only cleared by the morning of January 10.
