Tourist Train 'Ritsa' Links Abkhazia and Black Sea
A new tourist train 'Ritsa' will operate from Moscow and Voronezh to the Black Sea coast and Abkhazia, with the only 2026 departure on October 9.

A tourist train «Ritsa» will be launched from Moscow and Voronezh. The route will pass through Sochi, Novorossiysk, Gagra, Sukhum, and Rostov-on-Don. Residents of Kuban can also choose any city within the tour. The only trip in 2026 starts on October 9.

The train will pass through cities on the coast of Krasnodar Krai (Novorossiysk, Sochi) and Abkhazia (Gagra, Sukhum, New Athos). In Novorossiysk, tourists will visit the waterfront, the cruiser-museum «Mikhail Kutuzov», and the Abrau-Durso winery. In Abkhazia — waterfalls, Lake Ritsa, the Yupshar Canyon, and the Sukhum Botanical Garden. In Sochi — the Olympic Park, the waterfront, and a cable car. The tour will end in Rostov-on-Don with a walk along the waterfront and the city. The program lasts 7–8 days.
Ticket prices start from 9,900 rubles (about $110 at current rates) for visiting only Sukhum and New Athos. The most expensive option is the comprehensive excursion program for 63,000 rubles (about $700 at current rates). Tickets will appear on the Russian Railways website soon.
Earlier, trips on the tourist train «Weekends in Dombay» were launched from Krasnodar and Rostov. The program includes travels along the slopes of the Dombay and Arkhyz ski resorts, a visit to the Teberda National Park, and the open-air museum «Nizhne-Arkhyz Alan Settlement».
