Construction of the metro station complex on Sennaya Square in Nizhny Novgorod has entered an active phase following the completion of tunnel boring by the Vladimir shield.
Having received a positive conclusion from the state expert review, builders have begun work both on the surface and in the underground section. At this stage, monolithic structures need to be poured to reinforce the framework of the future station.
Parallel to this, construction has begun on the first trough section, which will be part of the station complex. This requires installing 78 tons of metal rebar and laying 310 cubic meters of concrete.
On the surface part of the site, binding beams are already being installed to create a solid foundation. This work will require assembling 33 tons of reinforcing cage and pouring more than 600 cubic meters of concrete mix.
The contract for building the new metro stations in the Nagornaya part of Nizhny Novgorod has been extended to December 2027. Completion of the work was initially planned for the end of 2025.
