Tolmachevo Airport sets passenger record in 2025

The airport broke its 2019 record for passenger traffic on international routes, carrying over two million people.
Novosibirsk«s Tolmachevo Airport transported 9.682 million passengers in 2025. This was announced at a press conference at the TASS news agency by Konstantin Furiaev, General Director of Tolmachevo Airport JSC. According to him, the airport broke its own passenger traffic record—the figure grew by 4% compared to 2024.
Tolmachevo is the flagship airport of the Siberian cluster of the Novaport holding. Most of the facilities showed growth in passenger traffic, Furiaev specified. All airports in the group transported almost 14 million passengers over the year.
“Tolmachevo grew by 4%, Ulan-Ude by 12%, Barnaul by 1.5%, Chita by 8.8%, and Magadan by 11%. The airports of Tomsk and Kemerovo showed negative dynamics. Tomsk decreased by 4% in passenger traffic, Kemerovo by 9.8%,” commented the airport«s general director.
Commercial Director of Tolmachevo Stanislav Taravkov said that out of 92 routes from Tolmachevo, 60 are domestic and 32 are international. The majority of the transportation on these routes is carried out by the airline S7.
“In our route network of 92 routes, 74 are operated by our base carrier, the company S7. For 2026, it has planned two more new routes—to Cheboksary and Kogalym—and also plans to return to Shanghai and the Chinese city of Xi«an,” he specified.
According to Stanislav Taravkov, Tolmachevo in 2025 broke its own 2019 record for passenger transportation on international routes—2.074 million compared to 1.793 million people.
Recall that in early January, NGS looked into how Tolmachevo«s cargo terminal is operating after mass dismissal of employees.
