Toll road travel from Moscow may become more expensive

Travel on the toll roads of the Avtodor network may become more expensive. This was stated by the company«s board chairman Vyacheslav Petushenko.
«In accordance with the country»s economic development and the terms of the contract, we will certainly consider this issue. Because there is inflation, costs are rising for everyone, including road maintenance. Therefore, of course, we are considering it,« TASS quotes Vyacheslav Petushenko.
The head of the state company promised that a balanced decision would be made on this issue. If the toll is raised too much, traffic may decrease.
The question of raising toll tariffs was asked by MSK1.RU to Avtodor in December 2025, and the press service then noted that this is an annual necessity.
«The tariff requires annual indexation to ensure a quality level of infrastructure operation. The period and amount of indexation have not yet been determined. As a rule, indexation corresponds to the level of the consumer price index,» MSK1.RU was told by the press service of Avtodor State Company (Avtodor).
Avtodor has almost 3,700 kilometers of roads under toll operation across Russia, and a total of almost six thousand kilometers under trust management. In the Moscow region, these include the Central Ring Road (TsKAD), the A-105 to Domodedovo Airport, the M-1 «Belarus,» the M-3 «Ukraine,» the M-4 «Don,» the M-11 «Neva,» and the A-107 «Moscow Small Ring.»
At the beginning of the year, travel on the M-11 highway on the section from Moscow to Sheremetyevo and Solnechnogorsk became more expensive. MSK1.RU reported on the tariffs with which Moscow and the Moscow region began 2026 on toll roads. By 2030, several interchanges on the Central Ring Road (TsKAD) will open in the Moscow region. In the fall, Avtodor shared with MSK1.RU details of the project for a new highway from Krasnodar to Yekaterinburg.
