Street in Voronezh's Sovetsky District to Be Closed for Three Weeks

Krasnozvezdnaya Street in the Sovetsky district of Voronezh has been closed since January 22 for three weeks. The city«s road management department has issued a warning.

Traffic is prohibited near house No. 36, opposite Children«s Polyclinic No. 4. The restrictions started at 08:00 on Thursday, January 22, and will last until 18:00 on Wednesday, February 11.

The reason for the closure is work on utility networks. The nature of the work and the company conducting it are not specified.

On Thursday morning, Voronezh experienced traffic jams even without closures. Congestion has gripped the city for the second day in a row due to snowfall. Movement is particularly difficult in the mornings in the Kominternovsky and Central districts. Meanwhile, Voronezh residents complain about poor road cleaning in the city, which is exacerbated by problems with yard cleanup. Many houses in Voronezh still have huge ice ruts that haven«t been cleared.
