«It took almost an hour to get from Kalinina along Suzdalskoye Highway to Vyemka. Buses are also stuck in traffic. At bus stops, crowds of people can»t wait for transport,« complained a resident of the Frunzensky District.

Roads were being cleared, but the snow removal equipment made passage more difficult.

«There have been no reports of any serious traffic accidents in the city,» clarified the Yaroslavl police.

The traffic jam on Kalinina Street was partly caused by snow removal equipment cleaning the roadway.

In addition, Yaroslavl residents reported a truck parked near the YaERZ (Yaroslavl Electric Railroad Car Plant) area.

«There»s a «bottleneck» there. And this truck is taking up an entire lane,« drivers complain.

A traffic jam also stretched along Aviatorov Avenue in the Zavolzhsky District.

«Everyone is driving slowly. But it»s better than for pedestrians, there are no sidewalks at all — just directions,« the situation in the Zavolzhsky District was assessed on social media.
