In 2025, drivers in the Novosibirsk region were issued over 4.1 million fines for traffic violations. This was reported by the GKU NSO TsODD (State Public Institution of Novosibirsk Region «Traffic Management Center»).
The most common traffic violations included:
- Exceeding the established speed limit;
- Violating seatbelt usage rules;
- Non-compliance with road signs and markings.
Additionally, drivers frequently violated intersection crossing rules by driving through red lights. They also drove in lanes designated for route transport.
