Seven trains delayed in Kuban due to bridge closure

Several trains are delayed in Krasnodar Krai due to the temporary closure of the Crimean Bridge, with schedule deviations reaching up to 5.5 hours.

Traffic on the Crimean Bridge was suspended around midnight without explanation, causing disruptions in rail traffic through Krasnodar Krai.

According to the press service of the North Caucasus Railway (SKZhD, Severo-Kavkazskaya zheleznaya doroga), seven trains passing through Rostov-on-Don are behind schedule by 1.5 to 5.5 hours. These are trains heading to Crimea:

  • No. 8 St. Petersburg — Sevastopol;
  • No. 328 Kislovodsk — Simferopol;
  • No. 92 Moscow — Sevastopol;
  • No. 316 Adler — Simferopol;
  • No. 196 Moscow — Simferopol;
  • No. 186 Tyumen — Simferopol;
  • No. 28 Moscow — Simferopol.

Delays also affected five trains traveling from Crimea:

  • No. 67 Simferopol — Moscow;
  • No. 327 Simferopol — Kislovodsk;
  • No. 77 Simferopol — St. Petersburg;
  • No. 195 Simferopol — Moscow;
  • No. 91 Sevastopol — Moscow.

The North Caucasus Railway stated: «Passengers on trains delayed for more than 4 hours will be provided with bottled water and meals.» As of the time of publication, traffic on the bridge has not been restored.
