Seven Cars Collide in Major Accident on M-4 Don Highway
A multi-kilometer traffic jam formed on the M-4 Don highway after seven vehicles were involved in a collision.

Three road accidents were recorded on the morning of January 27 at 09:40 at the 1029th kilometer of the federal highway M-4 Don near Rostov. The information was confirmed by the press service of the regional department of the State Traffic Inspectorate (GAI).
According to inspectors, unfavorable weather conditions could have contributed to the accidents, among other factors.
Seven vehicles, including a scheduled bus, were involved in the accidents.
‘The causes of the accidents were incorrect distance selection and speed inappropriate for road conditions. As a result of the incidents, the vehicles sustained mechanical damage, with no injuries,’explained the traffic police (GIBDD).
Due to the incident, a six-kilometer traffic jam formed on the highway. Later, department employees eliminated the consequences, and traffic was restored to normal.
On the evening before, January 26, in the area of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky in the Rostov region, a ten-kilometer traffic jam also formed due to a truck fire.
