Sennaya Metro Station Construction Progress on Belinsky Street

Residents of Nizhny Novgorod were told about the progress of the construction of the Sennaya metro station on Belinsky Street. Footage from the construction site was shown on the Telegram channel Metro NN.

Metro builders are currently installing enclosing structures for the future pit. It is intended for the metro ventilation shaft.

Workers are also building a dispersal beam, which is needed to distribute the load and ensure stability around the perimeter of the site.

As for the tunnels, there are already two of them underground. The shield Vladimir finished driving the second tunnel in December 2025. Now the complex is being lifted to the surface in parts, after which it will undergo a professional inspection. The dismantling of the structure is already coming to an end. When it is completed, engineering equipment will begin to be installed in the tunnel.

It should be added that the contract for the construction of new metro stations in the Nagornaya part of Nizhny Novgorod has been extended until December 2027. Initially, the work was planned to be completed by the end of 2025.
