Rostov Trams Halted by Bad Weather, Transport Routes Changed

The city transport department of Rostov-on-Don announced a temporary suspension of tram traffic due to unfavorable weather conditions.

«Tram traffic has been suspended,» the department said in a statement.

Adjustments have also affected bus routes.

The following buses are temporarily not running on Stadiomnaya Street:

• Nos. 2, 6, 6a, 17a, 21, 27, 35, 38, 43, 44, 47, 58, 76, 78, 90, 90a, 99

An alternative route has been approved for them: Narodnogo Opolcheniya Square — Lenin Avenue — Mikhail Nagibin Avenue — Tekucheva Street — Budyonnovsky Avenue.

«Trolleybus traffic on Stadiomnaya Street has been suspended,» added the transport department.

Due to heavy traffic on Sovkhoznaya and Peskova Streets, bus route No. 64 «Karatayevo Settlement» — «Central Market» has been shortened. It now runs only from Central Market to Malinovsky Street. Route No. 32 is operating as usual.

«Due to traffic jams, we recommend that residents also use railway transport,» concluded the department.
