R-242 highway lane closure for road works near Severka

In Sverdlovsk Oblast on 29 January, the traffic pattern on the R-242 Yekaterinburg–Perm highway will change due to road works. This was reported by the press service of the Ural Highway Administration (Uralupravtodor).

«Near the village of Severka (342nd km) in the direction of Perm, road works are planned. Traffic will be carried out in one lane. The works will be conducted from 09:00 to 18:00,» the statement says.

The administration asks drivers to plan their route in advance and be attentive on the road: maintain distance and observe the speed limit. Information can be clarified by phone at 8-800-200-63-06.

Earlier we reported that in Yekaterinburg, the closure of a section of Karl Marx Street, from Gogol to Rosa Luxemburg, has been extended until 1 August 2026. Workers of the contractor «Trust Uraltransspetsstroy» will carry out construction work there.
