Prosecutor's office finds cleaning violations on fourth Ob bridge

The Novosibirsk prosecutor«s office issued a warning to the concessionaire of the fourth bridge after checking the condition of the road surface. This was reported by the supervisory agency on January 22.

The agency clarified that the inspection into improper maintenance of the bridge was conducted with the involvement of the State Traffic Inspectorate (GAI). After the prosecutor«s office intervened, the concessionaire intensified work on clearing snowdrifts and winter slipperiness.

“The city prosecutor«s office issued a warning to the person responsible for maintaining the fourth bridge about the inadmissibility of violations of traffic safety legislation when maintaining public roads in the winter period,” the agency added.

Employees are monitoring the work being carried out on the fourth bridge.

On January 20, GC VIS reported that the condition of the bridge amid abnormal snowfalls is monitored by the operator company — the road is cleaned around the clock by more than twenty units of equipment.

NGS sent a request to GC VIS after the prosecutor«s office»s report.

The concessionaire also added that, on the company«s initiative, traffic on the fourth bridge was organized in December 2025 under a temporary scheme. Passage is currently free. This allowed motorists to use the built infrastructure until the completion of all work stipulated by the agreement.

Recall that in December, the Novosibirsk city hall explained why the opening of traffic on the fourth bridge provoked the appearance of traffic jams.
