Priora Driver Dies After Crashing into Brick Fence

A fatal accident occurred late in the evening on January 22 in Georgiyevsk. Around 23:00 on Yermolov Street, the driver of a Lada Priora lost control and crashed into a brick fence.

The driver had already died from his injuries before emergency medical personnel arrived.

According to preliminary data from the traffic police, the driver was a 38-year-old resident of the Georgiyevsky district. The car veered off the road at high speed and only stopped after hitting the obstacle.

The man died at the scene from his injuries. Paramedics could only pronounce him dead.

As police clarified, the driver had previously been held administratively liable twice.

Emergency services worked at the scene. Following the crash, personnel from the traffic police, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM), the fire service, and an investigative-operational group were dispatched.

The circumstances and exact causes of the incident are being established.
