Overpasses Open at Moscow's MSD and Southern Rockade Intersection

The roads are located near the Kantemirovskaya metro station
Overpasses have been opened at the intersection of the MSD and the Southern Rockade in southern Moscow. The main route of the rockade has now been fully formed. This was reported by Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.

On Monday, traffic was launched on two overpasses over Proletarskiy Prospekt near the Kantemirovskaya metro station and on the bridge-exit from the MSD to the same prospect. Additionally, adjacent driveways were arranged along Kantemirovskaya Street and streets were reconstructed. And near building 29k2, an underground pedestrian crossing was opened.
Via the opened bridges, it is now possible to drive directly from Kaspyiskaya Street to Warsaw Highway and Chertanovskaya Street. Previously, the passage from Proletarskiy Prospekt was available via the old, two-lane section of Kantemirovskaya Street.
In the video of the capital«s mayor, it is also mentioned that the bridge between Kavkazskiy Boulevard and Koshkina Street is planned to be opened in March of this year. At the same time, adjacent streets and the exit to Kantemirovskaya will be reconstructed.
MSD — the Moscow High-Speed Diameter — is a connection between the South-Eastern and North-Eastern Chords. And the Southern Rockade is a highway from Rublyovskoye Highway in the west of Moscow to Verkhniye Polya Street in the south-east of the city. On Kantemirovskaya Street, the two projects intersect.
The prolonged construction became a problem for local residents, and MSK1.RU tracked its progress: see what was happening there last spring. The work site stretched for several kilometers, and MSK1.RU showed how Muscovites in the south of the capital are reacting to everything.
