Omsk Has Cheapest Fuel in Siberia

Omsk Oblast had the lowest fuel prices in the Siberian Federal District in December, though some grades were cheaper in Tomsk.

While Omsk has the lowest average fuel prices in Siberia, certain gasoline grades cost less in Tomsk Oblast.

According to data from last December, Omsk Oblast was the region with the lowest fuel prices in the Siberian Federal District. This information was reported in a press release from Novosibirskstat (the Novosibirsk State Statistics Service).

According to experts, the following minimum prices were recorded in Omsk:

Gas motor fuel — 21.59 rubles per liter (approximately $0.29 at current rates);
Diesel fuel — 74.49 rubles per liter (approximately $0.99);
Automobile gasoline AI-92 — 57.77 rubles per liter (approximately $0.77).

However, for grades AI-95 (61.19 rubles per liter, approximately $0.82) and AI-98 (80.14 rubles per liter, approximately $1.07), Tomsk Oblast was more advantageous. In Omsk, they cost about a ruble more.

«In December 2025 compared to November 2025, the consumer price index for motor fuel was 99.5%. Prices changed for diesel fuel (+0.6%), automobile gasoline grade AI-98 and higher (+0.2%). Prices decreased for automobile gasoline grades AI-95 (-1.6%), AI-92 (-1.5%), and gas motor fuel (-0.5%),» statisticians added.

Last weekend, NGS55.RU reported that gasoline became cheaper in Omsk.
