Omsk City Hall Seeks Buses for Evacuation

The Omsk city administration has begun searching for a carrier to evacuate residents in the event of an emergency. Up to 240,400 rubles ($2,700 at current rates) will be allocated from the city budget for this purpose. The corresponding auction appeared on the public procurement portal.
Under the terms of the contract, the contractor must be ready to provide buses at the first request of the administration. Requests will be made by phone from the duty officer of the Yedinaya Dezhurno-Dispetcherskaya Sluzhba (Unified Dispatch Service).
The main condition is speed. After the call, the buses must arrive at the specified point no later than one hour.
«Buses must be delivered within one hour of a call from the duty officer of the Unified Dispatch Service of Omsk. Subject to appropriate road conditions, the buses arrive at the location set by the customer at any time of day.»
The carrier will have to work until December 30, 2026. A number of requirements have also been set for the vehicles. The buses must be technically sound, comply with sanitary standards and requirements of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (GIBDD), and have all necessary documentation.
If a bus breaks down on the way, the contractor is obliged to replace it within 30 minutes.
«In the event of a technical malfunction of the vehicle that cannot be rectified on site by the driver, replace such vehicle within 30 minutes of receiving notification thereof,» the documentation states.
