Omsk Bridge Security to Cost 15 Million Rubles

The security contract covers a seven-month period from March to September.
In Omsk, a contractor has been determined for the security of city bridges and overpasses. The initial contract price was 19.2 million rubles ($213,300 at current rates), but the winner of the tender will charge 15.2 million rubles ($168,900 at current rates) for the services. This information is posted on the state procurement website.
The contractor is to perform the work from March 1 to September 29. The following facilities are subject to security:
60 Years of the Komsomol Bridge
Leningradsky Bridge
Frunzensky Bridge
Zaozernaya Street Overpass
4th Kirovskaya Street Overpass
Torgovaya Street Overpass
Overpass across railway tracks as part of the interchange at the intersection of 15th Rabochaya and Khabarovskaya streets
The contractor is to protect the facilities from acts of unlawful interference. To do this, the company must patrol the bridges, conduct video surveillance, and identify violators, prohibited items and substances.
Each duty shift handling the security of the facilities will have at least 7 people. Each of them must be dressed in uniform, a reflective vest, and have a badge with a photo. The employees must also have rubber batons, handcuffs, bulletproof vests, helmets, stun guns, and other items.
The city administration told NGS55.RU that the name of the contractor will be announced after the contract is signed.
