Novosibirsk's Oktyabrsky District to Ban Parking on Several Streets
Road signs will be added to the designated areas to enforce the parking ban.
In Oktyabrsky District, parking will be restricted on several streets starting after February 13. The information was published on the Novosibirsk city hall website.
«This is necessary to ensure road traffic safety, including the efficiency of street and road network cleaning,» clarified the message.
On the specified sections, road signs «No Stopping» and «Towing in Progress» with a «Zone of Operation» sign are planned to be installed:
on Moskovskaya Street from Avtogennaya Street to house No. 165 on Moskovskaya Street in both directions;
on Dobrolyubova Street from house No. 73 to house No. 113;
on Gurievskaya Street near house No. 51;
on Karla Libknekhta Street from house No. 50 on Proletarskaya Street to Malaya Krasnoarmeyskaya Street;
on Stofato Street from house No. 15 to Zhuravleva Street;
on Dunaiskaya Street near house No. 47 on Dunaiskaya Street on the section from Leningradskaya Street to Tolstogo Street in both directions.
Drivers need to be attentive, follow the signs, and comply with traffic rules.
Earlier in Novosibirsk, parking was restricted in all districts of the city. The changes took effect on January 10.
