In Novosibirsk, the planned completion dates for the capital repair of the bridge over the Tula River were announced. They were outlined by Mayor Maxim Kudryavtsev on his Telegram channel.

According to the mayor, 110 piles have already been driven on three supports at the site. Road workers have completed concreting of the grillage (the upper part of the pile foundation) of three posts of support No. 2, and preparations are underway to drive another 28 piles under another support.

«Currently, the reinforcement cage is being assembled and formwork is being installed for the grillages of supports No. 1 and 3. Traffic is currently organized via a temporary bypass. After the completion of construction, it will be dismantled,» the statement said.

It is specified that the old bridge was built in 1962 and was in a pre-emergency condition. The capital repair began last year.

«We plan to complete this significant project for the left-bank part of the city this year,» the mayor noted.

Maxim Kudryavtsev stated that specialists are essentially building a new modern bridge with an expanded roadway.

Earlier, it became known that Novosibirsk began issuing fines for speeding on the fourth bridge.
