Nizhny Novgorod Alters Bus Route to Leninsky District

Starting January 29, the bus route No. 52 in Nizhny Novgorod will be partially rerouted. The transport will begin to drive onto Admiral Makarov and Dargomyzhsky streets, according to the Center for Transport System Development.
Route No. 52 was launched as a compensatory measure after the cancellation of tram routes No. 3 and No. 21 during rail repairs in the Leninsky district. Buses run from Gorky Square to the «Proletarskaya» metro stop. Now, the transport will drive onto Admiral Makarov and Dargomyzhsky streets. Stop signs have been installed there, and snow clearance is being carried out.
Previously, we reported that three new bus routes may be launched between Nizhny Novgorod and Kstov in 2027. The plans can be implemented if funding is found.
At the end of last year, 82 new buses were purchased for Nizhny Novgorod. The documentation was completed, and the transport has started operating. Previously, we reported on which routes they can be found.
