New Traffic Cameras to Fine Drivers in Tyumen

Starting January 23, new photo and video enforcement systems will be activated on the roads of Tyumen, the regional State Traffic Inspectorate reported.

«The systems will detect speeding, unbelted drivers and passengers, use of mobile phones, driving without headlights on. I also note the different thresholds for speeding on country roads and in populated areas,» said the head of the regional State Traffic Inspectorate, Andrei Miller.

The cameras will operate on the following sections.

  • Tyumen – Borovsky – Bogandinsky, 1st kilometer: speed limit 60 km/h;

  • Tyumen – Airport, 7th kilometer: speed limit 90 km/h;

  • Tyumen Bypass, 2nd kilometer: speed limit 60 km/h;

  • Tyumen Bypass, 6th kilometer: speed limit 90 km/h;

  • Tyumen Bypass, 17th kilometer: speed limit 60 km/h;

  • Tyumen Bypass, 23rd kilometer: speed limit 60 km/h;

  • Approach to the village of Lugovoye, 2nd kilometer: speed limit 60 km/h;

  • Tyumen – Salairka, zero kilometer: speed limit 60 km/h;

  • Tyumen – Salairka, 10th kilometer: speed limit 90 km/h;

  • Tyumen – Salairka, 18th kilometer: speed limit 60 km/h.
