At the Zavodskoye tram depot, logistics chains for delivering repair kits have been optimized. As a result, repairs of the «Bogatyr» trams after accidents have been established. According to the company«s specialists, three trams will return to the route by the end of this week after repairs.
The depot has also established scheduled maintenance for the new trams. Each car undergoes it within 2–3 days to keep the new fleet in working order. To fully return the damaged fleet to the line, the company«s technical services are operating in enhanced mode.
More than two weeks ago during his visit to Saratov, Vyacheslav Volodin stated that in the regional center, about 20 out of 45 new trams were sitting broken in the depot. They were purchased for routes No. 6, 8, and 9. He recalled that he had found funds for three three-section «Vityaz» trams and that the city needs ten more of these.
However, until the trams idle after accidents are repaired, no funds will be allocated for new machines. The threat had an effect: over the past time, 20 out of 25 (80%) of the trams that were standing in the depot have been repaired or will be repaired by the end of this week.
