Moscow snowstorm causes flight delays in Chelyabinsk

Heavy snowstorm in Moscow led to disruptions in air traffic.
Due to a heavy snowstorm that hit Moscow on January 27 and the subsequent closure of Sheremetyevo Airport, delays occurred for three flights in Chelyabinsk. According to online board data, two arriving Aeroflot flights are delayed, and one departing flight is postponed.

Details of flight delays:
- Flight SU 1094 Moscow–Chelyabinsk: arrival rescheduled from 13:55 to 14:50.
- Flight SU 1420 Moscow–Chelyabinsk: expected with a 10-minute delay at 15:35.
- Flight SU 1421 Chelyabinsk–Moscow: departure delayed by an hour and scheduled for 17:20.
Earlier, Sheremetyevo Airport announced that due to bad weather, it would not accept aircraft until 14:00 Chelyabinsk time.
At the airport, they reported: «Airlines are adjusting flight schedules.»
The powerful snowstorm began in Moscow and the region on Tuesday. According to meteorologists, about 9 millimeters of precipitation fell overnight. Warnings were issued to drivers about possible traffic jams, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) distributed an emergency alert.
